TALOS Hub

Drones have long flown reliably. What is missing is the airport.

TALOS is an autonomous, mobile drone base station in an ISO container – with the software that plans, legally checks and clears flight operations.

AUTONOMOUS. COMPLIANT. NETWORKED.

One box, one drone.

Almost all of today’s drone ground stations follow the same principle: every drone needs its own complete station – with its own landing and charging technology, its own control system and its own maintenance contract.

Applied to aviation, this would mean every aircraft gets its own runway, its own tower and its own fuel station. So far, this redundancy has prevented drone fleets from being economically viable.

One hub. An entire fleet.

TALOS approaches drone infrastructure like an airport: the complex technology exists once per hub, not once per drone.

Several drones are housed protected in a single container, are charged and stand ready autonomously for their mission. Every additional drone costs only a fraction.

approx. −60 % Total cost over seven years¹
¹ E-Luc calculation (as of 10/2026): TALOS compared with Western drone-in-a-box systems with the same number of drone bays at one site; manufacturers' list prices, indicative TALOS prices, excluding drones and personnel. TALOS is currently under development.

Why TALOS

A fleet instead of a single box.

More drones without more stations. The cost per drone falls with every additional drone.

Drone-agnostic.

TALOS is not an accessory for one specific drone. Mixed fleets and existing drones remain usable, without lock-in to a manufacturer ecosystem.

Mobile, no civil works.

Relocatable by truck and operational within hours. No foundation and no grid connection required.

Grows with you.

Two sizes (20 and 40 ft) and configurable equipment. The hub grows with the fleet, without changing systems.

Everything from one source.

Hardware, operating software and airspace approval from one provider, with one point of contact for the entire system.

Made in Europe.

Developed in Baden-Württemberg with a European supply chain. Procurable for public authorities, emergency services, defence and critical infrastructure.

The second half decides whether you are allowed to fly.

  1. 01

    Hub Control

Remote control and monitoring of the hub from the control centre, on site or remotely. Condition monitoring and predictive maintenance.

  2. 02

    Mission Planning

Plans operations for entire fleets at the same time instead of drone by drone and hands the optimal route to the flight software of the respective manufacturer. Schedule recurring flights, coordinate sites.

  3. 03

    Deconfliction & Legal Engine

Detects and resolves conflicts between planned flights before take-off and brings together everything legal: automated SORA risk assessment according to EASA requirements, a check of the legal requirements and complete documentation for operational authorisation and authorities.

Where TALOS operates

Emergency services & civil protection

A situational picture in minutes, even where there is no building.

Defence & security

Relocatable and self-sufficient, for military sites and staging areas.

Industry & critical infrastructure

Recurring inspection of plant sites, utility corridors, rail and port facilities.

Medical & express logistics

Time-critical transport between hospitals and laboratories, especially in rural areas.

Flexible procurement

  • Purchase
  • Leasing and hire purchase
  • Short-term rental for exercises, operations and projects
  • Software as an annual licence

Built for when it matters

  • Ready for take-off in under 20 seconds from standby mode
  • Operation from −25 °C to +55 °C
  • Integrated, autonomous fire protection for battery storage
  • Target availability ≥ 98 %
  • CE conformity, lithium storage according to EN 62619 / UN 38.3, fire protection based on VdS 3103, SORA according to EASA

Design targets from the requirements specification. TALOS is currently under development.
